Objectives:

• Students will discuss findings on lessons relating to Glory.
• Students will assess learning that took place over the Civil War unit.
• Students will analyze events taking place after the Civil War ended.

Today, students discussed the Glory worksheets and turned them in.

Students then took some time to write an essay about lessons learned while watching the film Glory.

Instructions are below:

• Write about three lessons you learned watching the film over the course of the last few days. Give detailed examples from the film.
• Save as your last name and class period- be sure there is a .doc at the end of your file
• a little over 1 page typed
• 12 point font
• SPELL CHECK

Then, students discussed their writings about the film Glory.

Students filled out the L portion of the K-W-L worksheet relating to the Civil War.
